Teenage ring workshop

  • Cleo Jewellery Workshop Hook, England, RG29 United Kingdom (map)

Make your mark: A silver ring workshop girls

Introducing, a hands-on jewellery-making experience, designed just for girls aged 12–17 and the special adult who brings them for the summer holiday of 2026!

This workshop is designed for girls in that in-between stage, not quite a child, not an adult, not really interested in going to the park day after day. A genuinely engaging, creative experience made just for pre-teen and teenage girls.

This workshop was built around one idea: giving mums, dads, aunties, and grandparents an easy, meaningful way to spend real one-on-one time with the teenage or pre-teen girl in their life.

No screens, no distractions, just the two of you, side by side, making something together. It's a lovely excuse for a proper day out, and a natural way to connect during years when finding shared activities can start to feel harder.

**Every girl attends with an adult.** This is a shared experience, not a drop-off session, that's part of what makes it special.

Workshop Terms & Conditions

Before booking a workshop with Cleo Jewellery, please take a moment to read through the terms and conditions below. These are in place to make sure everyone enjoys a safe, creative, and positive experience.

Eligibility & Supervision

  • This workshop is open to participants aged 12–17, each of whom must be accompanied by their own responsible adult (parent, guardian, or other adult with authority to supervise them) for the entire duration of the workshop.

  • A minimum ratio of one adult to every two young participants must be maintained at all times.

  • The accompanying adult is solely responsible for the supervision, behaviour, and safety of their own child/young person throughout the workshop, including during tool use, torch use, and any breaks or movement around the venue.

  • Cleo Jewellery's trainer, Wendy, will demonstrate techniques and provide instruction and guidance to the group, but does not take on parental responsibility, guardianship, or a duty of supervision for any young participant. That responsibility remains with the accompanying adult at all times.

  • The accompanying adult confirms, by booking, that they have made their own assessment of their child's ability to understand and follow instructions, and to use tools and materials sensibly and safely, and that they consider it appropriate for their child to take part.

Safety

  • Silversmithing involves tools and techniques that can be potentially harmful (such as using a jeweller's saw, files, hammers, and heating metal with a small blow torch).

  • Wendy will always demonstrate correct use and guide participants step by step. No tools are to be used until Wendy has confirmed a participant is ready.

  • The accompanying adult agrees to reinforce this instruction with their own child, and to intervene directly if they see their child acting unsafely, not following guidance, or misusing any tool or material.

  • By attending, both the adult and young participant agree to listen carefully to instructions and follow all guidance provided by Wendy .

  • While every effort is made to provide correct instruction and a safe learning environment, Cleo Jewellery cannot be held responsible for injury or accident caused by a young participant's failure to follow instructions, misuse of tools or materials, or a lapse in supervision by the accompanying adult.

Indemnity

  • By booking a place for a young participant, the accompanying adult agrees to indemnify and hold harmless Cleo Jewellery, Wendy, and any staff or contractors, against any claim, loss, damage, or expense arising from:

    • the young participant's own actions, or failure to follow instructions;

    • any failure of the accompanying adult to adequately supervise the young participant during the workshop;

    • any pre-existing condition, allergy, or vulnerability of the young participant not disclosed to Cleo Jewellery in advance.

Booking & Payment

  • Workshop places are allocated on a first come, first served basis, confirmed once payment has been received.

  • Spaces are limited to keep workshops personal and enjoyable, so early booking is recommended.

  • Each young participant's place must be booked alongside a named accompanying adult who will attend with them for the full session.

Cancellations & Refunds

  • Full refunds are available up to 3 days before the workshop date.

  • Transfers to another workshop date can be made if you cancel 2–3 days before your booked workshop.

  • No refunds or transfers are available for same-day cancellations or non-attendance.

Agreement

By booking a place for a young participant, the accompanying adult confirms that they:

  • Will remain with, and personally supervise, their child/young person for the entire duration of the workshop.

  • Take full responsibility for their child/young person's safety, behaviour, and adherence to instructions during the session.

  • Understand and accept the risks involved in jewellery-making activities, and have assessed these as appropriate for their child.

  • Agree to indemnify Cleo Jewellery as set out above.

  • Accept the cancellation and refund policy as stated.
